Two years ago, I published a book about Europe’s greatest challenges and opportunities and about the changes we urgently need to secure our future. In the book, I lay out my vision for a new European project: one that is stronger, more democratic, and better prepared for the world of tomorrow.
Now, I’ve translated and updated the book in English, and I genuinely believe this new version is even better than the original. That’s why I started a new mission: making it freely available to everyone.
In We Are Europe, I take readers on a journey across our continent. Through history, personal stories, and political reflection, the book tells the deeper story behind European cooperation: what we have achieved together, where the European Union still falls short, and what kind of Europe we need for the future.
At a time when Europe faces enormous geopolitical, economic, and democratic challenges, I wanted to write an optimistic story; one that shows why a united Europe still matters, and what we can do to make it stronger.
The response has been incredible. I received more than 180 messages from people across Europe whom sent their free physical copy by post. I transformed my office into a mini post office, and shipped copies of We Are Europe to readers all across the continent.
And the best part: now the book is also freely available as an eBook and audiobook. You can download them here!
